1) Design your own puzzle for at least 2 players.  Playtest it with friends & refine the play experience.

2) Document your ruleset, playtesting results, and how you iterated on the design to address playtesting issues on your class blog.

“Level Design & Walkthrough”

1) Invent a game universe of your choosing, and choose a specific area to make into a level.  This could be a city, village, industrial complex, spaceship, jungle, just make sure the area is at a scale for a normal ~30 minute level.

2) Write out a walkthrough description of the numbered step by step events you will encounter as you progress through the level, and what the player must do to overcome them.

3) Draw a map of the level design for this walkthrough noting any points of interest, and placing the numbered events from your walkthrough in the map where they occur.

4) Post an image of your level design map and the full text of your walkthrough on your student blog and moodle.
